We started with a light blue background of fondant, then added layers of colored fondant to make the sun, palm tree and waves. Each element was cut out free hand to get the look of the original handbag. the handle is covered in fondant then is overlaid in a textured fondant. The last step was to paint the handle with edible gold paint..
